The establishment of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Girls Cadet College Larkana was envisioned to promote quality education for girls in a disciplined and progressive environment. The scheme was initially announced by former Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani in April 2009.
In 2016, a formal decision was taken to establish the college on over 100 acres of land. The final approved PC-I cost of the project was Rs. 2229.841 million.
Spread over 100 acres, the campus is situated near Mohenjo-daro. This location provides a peaceful environment conducive to effective learning.
